WELCOME TO PORTAL BJJ PORT KEMBLA

Portal Jiu-Jitsu Port Kembla carries the experience of Brazilian Professor David Moreira and Australian coach Elijha Hedges.

Portal is named after the suburb Portal Do Sol; the most easterly point of Brazil and the location of the first school. Portal is based on the principles Prof. David has learned during his experience in jiu-jitsu with a methodology targeted at teaching technical development as well as instilling the moral values of respect, humility, balance and loyalty. 

Coach Elijha Hedges is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt with more than 10 years’ experience competing and coaching. He also has extensive background in boxing both competing and coaching students from all levels and ages.

Coach Blake Barden is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt and has also compete both nationally and internationally in freestyle and Greco-Roman Wrestling.
